Stephen Horan, PhD


Stephen Horan is the founding president of Community Health Solutions, bringing more than 25 years of professional experience to each client and project. Under Steve's leadership Community Health Solutions has helped hundreds of organizations achieve better results through focused assessment, design, learning, and execution. The CHS team has also done pioneering work in bringing web-based performance support to health service providers, including safety net service providers. Individually, Steve has been an advisor to consumer groups, nonprofit organizations, corporations, foundations, and public sector leaders. This broad perspective informs his ability to think at the system level as well as the street level, and help people bridge gaps between policy and practice. Steve holds a PhD in Education specializing in research and evaluation, and brings a spirit of continuous learning to his work with Community Health Solutions. Email Steve at shoran@chsresults.com.
Terry Cyr has been with Community Health Solutions since it began in 2001. She brings more than 20 years of professional experience in various aspects of health care planning, research, and administration. She contributed to the development of our SMART Collaboration Platforms and is proud of the success this tool has achieved in supporting leadership development and health quality/care delivery projects for nurses, physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams. She completed IHI’s Breakthrough Series College in 2004 and applies strategies learned to help our clients achieve collaborative health quality innovation improvement aims. She currently serves as Director of Operations for Community Health Solutions with a focus on ensuring all of our products and tools are practical and useful to our clients. Terry holds a Master of Science Degree from James Madison University. Her community interests include youth leadership development and advocacy for people with intellectual disabilities. Caitlin Feller is a Project Manager with Community Health Solutions.  Caitlin currently leads projects in quality improvement in health care, patient-centered medical home, community return on investment, and provides support on projects involving population health and health analytics. Her areas of expertise include quality improvement, knowledge management, data development, data analysis, and collaboration support.  She achieved her NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home Content Expert Certification (PCMH CCE) in the summer of 2013. Caitlin brings significant experience to the team, including governmental, environmental and statistical positions.  She received both her B.A. in Economics and her Master of Public Policy degrees from the University of Virginia.  Email Caitlin at cfeller@chsresults.com.
Sherrina Gibson is a Project Manager with Community Health Solutions. Sherrina currently leads projects in health analytics, and provides support on projects involving quality improvement and population health. Her areas of expertise include evaluation, data development, and healthcare issues of the Medicaid and uninsured populations. Sherrina brings nine years of experience to the team, and holds an B.A. in Sociology. Sheryl Walters is a Senior Associate with Community Health Solutions. Sheri’s work with CHS focuses on research, web site development and support, and creation of educational products to support childhood obesity, child behavioral health, and wellness projects. Sheri has over 20 years of public health experience including extensive work with international aid organizations designing and implementing health-related educational programs, training, and evaluation. Sheri holds an M.P.H. with a concentration in health education and rural/cross-cultural health.
